from Culturia web site
Cristina Meloni:
"Intimacy and irony, with these two words I could describe my artistic research. Since many years I’ve been exploring my physicality in relation with objects and the idea of the fetishism of an interior experience. An unusual map in a familiar territory which is never fully known. I use different media from performance and installation to sculpture, video, painting and photography to show aspects of the private sphere but always with decency, even when revealing indiscrete nudity. A mise en scène of the results of an intimate and almost ritual investigation which reveal unconfessed aspects of the psychology of the inner self. The inventory of my body is transformed into an ironic adventure."

 Kim Yoon Hee :
"Begin with the arbitrary relationship between ‘sifnifiant’(image, sound) and ‘signified’(meaning) in linguistic, I got interested in letters as images – which does not convey the meaning. So I took it as mare of material attempting to explore the relationship between reading and seeing in the context of art. And it led me to think about the positions in art – object, artist, and viewer ,paralleled with the one in language – text, writer and reader.
Applying arbitrary system to transform one text into other forms (which you can see from the image above, ’a possible scope’ 2012 – the music notation for the musical box came from each alphabets in several poems) is a way of extending possible ways of seeing and taking it in different conditions with different effects on(or by) viewers."

 Elena Chronopoulou :
"Traces of the past, as translated through the gestural acts of inscribing and extracting physical elements, are the focus of my interest. Seeking for ways to recreate conditions that are no longer visible, or decipher remains of specific events, I am interested in working with the materials already present in a given space: the process of their removal or de-construction, creates an imprint of their former context. Visibility-Invisibility, Superficiality-Depth, are dipoles present in the sites of re/de/construction."
